A PPF visualizer for shops that shows the wrap before it goes on
3D Cars Studio is a color PPF visualizer for shops: it wraps the customer's car in 18 films, gloss or satin, plus clear and stealth, right over the factory paint. It is built for tint and PPF shops that want it on their own website and on a touchscreen at the counter.
18 color films
Gloss and satin, wrapped over the full body of the car, on top of its factory paint.
Clear and stealth
Not every PPF job is a color change. Customers who only want protection can see that too.
Four kinds of light
Shade, Indoors, Showroom and Direct Sun. A finish reads differently in each, and customers see all four.
Your site, your counter
Runs in any modern browser with no app and no login. On your domain and on a touchscreen in your lobby.
What does a color PPF visualizer show a customer?
The film on their car, before anyone cuts a panel.
The customer picks a vehicle, then wraps the full body in one of 18 color PPF films. Each film comes in gloss or satin, and it sits over the car's factory paint, the way the real film does in your bay.
They spin the car, look at it from every side, and switch films as often as they like. No app and no login. It runs in any modern browser, on a phone at home or on the screen at your counter.
Gloss, satin, clear and stealth
Color change is only part of the PPF menu. The studio also shows clear and stealth, for a customer who just wants the paint protected.
Gloss and satin look very different in the same color. Instead of tilting two chips under the lobby lights, the customer flips between them on the whole car.
Four lighting environments
Film changes with the light. A satin gray that looks flat indoors can look like another color in full sun. The studio has four lighting environments: Shade, Indoors, Showroom and Direct Sun. The customer sees the finish in all four before committing.
Why do color-change PPF jobs close once the customer sees the finish?
Color PPF is a big decision. The customer is changing how their car looks every day for years, and they are paying for full-body coverage, not one panel. "Let me think about it" usually means "I can't picture it."
A swatch book asks them to imagine a few square inches stretched over a whole car. A photo of someone else's car shows the right film on the wrong vehicle, in light you did not pick. Neither answers the real question: what will my car look like in this color?
The studio answers it. The customer sees the film over the full body of the car they drive, switches between gloss and satin, and checks it in direct sun. The choice stops being "should I do this" and becomes "which of these two". That is a conversation you can close at the counter.
If they want to sleep on it, the same studio is on your website. They continue at home, and the quote request goes to your inbox, not a platform or a film brand.
Swatch book, or the whole car?
| What they see | 3D Cars Studio | Swatch book or photos |
|---|---|---|
| How much film | The full body of the car | A few square inches |
| On which car | The model they drive, added to your build | A sample chip, or someone else's car |
| Gloss or satin | Switch on the same car | Two separate chips |
| Light | Shade, Indoors, Showroom, Direct Sun | Whatever light is in your lobby |
| Window tint too | Yes, in the same studio | A separate conversation |
How does PPF work with window tint in one build?
One build covers both. The customer wraps the car in color PPF, sets the shade on every window, and judges the finished car as one look.
The windshield, front windows, rear windows and sunroof each get their own shade, across seven film stops from 70% down to 5%, plus factory glass. A clear-glass toggle shows the car untinted so films compare fairly. The studio also accounts for how dark each vehicle's glass is from the factory, so the shade on screen is the end result. California window tint law is built in.
Why show them together
A customer in for color PPF is already spending on how the car looks. Tint on the same car, in the same visit, puts the second job in front of them while they decide on the first. You do not have to pitch it. They see it.
For the tint side in detail, read about the 3D window tint visualizer for shops, or see how the window tint simulator works for your customers.
Where does it run: my website or my counter?
Both. Every build includes a touchscreen on a rolling stand, preloaded with your studio. It shows an attract screen when nobody is using it and resets itself when a customer walks away.
The same studio goes on your website, as one line of embed code or static files on your own domain. WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow and custom sites all work. Your brand, no vendor logo. A customer starts at the counter and continues at home.
A swatch book never followed anyone home.

What else do shops ask about the PPF visualizer?
Which PPF finishes can customers see?
18 color PPF films in gloss and satin, wrapped over the full body of the car on top of its factory paint. Clear and stealth finishes are there too, for customers who want protection without a color change.
Can a customer see color PPF and window tint on the same car?
Yes. One build covers both. The customer wraps the car in color PPF, sets the shade on each window, and looks at the finished car as one.
Will the film look the same in the sun as it does in my lobby?
Film changes with the light, so the studio shows it four ways: Shade, Indoors, Showroom and Direct Sun. The customer can check a finish in all four before choosing.
Which vehicles can my customers wrap?
The public demo runs a Tesla Model Y (2025), Tesla Model 3 (2025) and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Your build adds the vehicles your customers drive, and more can be added later.
Does it run on my website and in my shop?
Both. It embeds on your site in one line, or ships as static files hosted on your own domain. Every build also includes a touchscreen on a rolling stand for your lobby, preloaded with the same studio.
What does the PPF visualizer cost?
Two options: a one-time lifetime license with no monthly fee, or a one-time activation plus a flat monthly plan. Neither charges per lead. We quote the number on a 20-minute call, after you have seen the studio on your own vehicles.
How fast can it go live?
